Alexandria’s 275th Anniversary This July marks 275 years since Alexandria’s 1749 founding. The City will be celebrating with events from April through September, starting with a kick-off event at Waterfront Park on Saturday, April 6 from noon to 4 p.m. Alexandria Community Cookouts The City invites neighborhoods and families to join City agencies, non-profits and community organizations for evenings of fun and opportunities to connect with resources at community cookout events across Alexandria.
